The original of this piece was sculpted by DH CHIPARUS circa 1920, however although this bears his signature it is not an original Chiparus work but is a modern reproduction This is a genuine hot cast solid bronze sculpture cast using the same lost wax method that has been used for centuries. It is heavy and is superior quality, this is NOT a cheap "cold cast" bronze copy The bronze stands 49cm tall and is finished on a polished tiered solid marble base.
