Bonamassa's Favorite Tele Set This set of Seymour Duncan Bonamassa Bludgeon Nocaster pickups is a hand-wound Custom Shop re-creation of the magical pups in Joe Bonamassa's 1951 Fender Nocaster — a.k.a. "The Bludgeon." The neck pickup is a warm-sounding PAF-style humbucker with a rough-cast Alnico II magnet. The bridge pickup is a flat-pole Alnico II-loaded T-style single-coil with a bright tone and an extra-hot output. Sweetwater guitarists have found that although these pickups sound amazing on their own, something special happens when you work them in tandem. Joe has referred to his '51 Nocaster as "the best guitar he's ever owned," and he's played it at nearly every show since he bought it. Now, thanks to this set, you can infuse your own guitar with this truly one-of-a-kind sound.

Capture the Bold, Balanced Tone of Bonamassa’s Broadcaster The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Joe Bonamassa 1950 Broadcaster pickup set replicates the tone and vibe of Joe’s treasured ’50 Fender Broadcaster to a T. What makes them so special? Few guitarists on the planet can match Joe’s encyclopedic knowledge and familiarity with vintage Fender instruments, so it’s telling that Joe singles his 1950 Broadcaster out from his massive Nerdville collection as a seriously special-sounding example. Seymour Duncan tells Sweetwater that Joe is particularly fond of the guitar’s neck pickup for its clear and beautifully balanced voice, which is immaculately re-created in this set via Alnico II magnets.
