This German-made Petromax Rapid 829/500CP Super represents a pinnacle of pressure lantern engineering from the 1970s. ~ Constructed with nickel-plated brass and fitted with original Schott Suprax glass, it delivers reliable illumination for camping, emergency preparedness, or collection display. ~ Standing 16 inches tall with a 6 5/8-inch diameter, the lantern shows its age authentically—minor patina on the brass, slight wear in the burner chamber, and yellowed fuel tank glass consistent with decades of use. ~ Fully functional but would have it serviced and cleaned. A solid example of mid-century German craftsmanship.

Petromax rapid 829/cp500 and a hipolito 301/350cp kerosene lanterns. Hipolito is pretty complete, missing glass and Guage and has a dent in tank and a small one in top as seen in photos. The petromax rapid is missing glass the small top deflector and burner, top has some dents as shown in photos. Sold as parts or repair.
