Szeryf Norris Ridgewick i jego współpracownicy rozpaczliwie szukają dwóch zaginionych dziewczyn, ale minęło już tyle czasu, że szansa, by sprowadzić je żywe do domu, jest nikła.</p> <p>Trzydziestosiedmioletnia Gwendy Peterson ma dziś niewiele wspólnego z zadziorną nastolatką, która kiedyś spędziła wakacje, biegając po Schodach Samobójców w Castle Rock.
