To prepare to take a photograph one has to wind the film and also cock the lever on the side of the lens. The shutter release on top only functions when loaded with film. You can also release the shutter using the lever opposite the cocking lever.

For sale is a Polaroid Land Pathfinder camera. It is a model 110A. I grew up using a camera just like this one. I am intimately familiar with how it works. I am pleased to say that everything is operating as it should including the shutter and its blades, f-stops, the split image focus mechanism, and the viewfinder. The bellows are in great shape, and the lens is clear and scratch free. Cosmetically, just a few very small signs of wear. Inside, some painted surfaces had flaked off due to film chemicals. Included is an A-S light reducer and a close-up lens kit, number 550.
