This is a SansAmp Bass DI from 1992, the precursor to the almighty SansAmp Bass Driver. It sounds incredible as a standalone passive DI, but it also has an Active XLR feature that turns it into a full-on amp and cabinet simulator (via internal 9V battery). There are even internal control pots that allow you to dial in the exact amount of drive, presence, level and blend. It also has a parallel output that is unaffected by the amp sim, allowing 2 outputs simultaneously with the ability to have a dry DI as well as an affected amp sim output. Check out the last photo in the listing for the original manual, it explains a lot about the pedal. This pedal is used and shows signs of it, but it operates perfectly and works (and sounds) great!
