We present a book entitled Project Management in Public Administration. The Case of Metropolis GZM. The monograph concerns an important task which is project management as an element of organization management system and a factor that will ensure an efficiency increase of an organization as a whole. Efficiency is a criterion that is increasingly more frequently used for the evaluation of a public organization s operativity. Efficient and effective functioning of such an organization is very significant for economic and social development. Not only private but also public entrepreneurships should keep focus on improving policies that will enhance their own activities. The collection Little Stories consists of 16 short, expressively varied piano pieces. The interpretation is suggested by the title, referring to the imagination, the world of fairy tales, everyday children s matters and observation of nature.The majority of the miniatures can be easily performed after few months of study; the level of difficulty corresponds to the last stage of learning with the hadbook by Agnieszka Lasko First Class Piano. In some of them (Drowsy Cloud, Sunrise, Cuckoo Song, The Princess and the Knight, Winter Moon) an element of improvisation is used, creatively engaging the young pianist; thanks to the composer s ingenuity any attempt at free music making shall be successful. The advantage of the pieces is their melody factor (memorable, naturally wandering themes). The miniatures are also characterized by simplicity of texture and harmony (slightly colored with dissonant chords), a playful tone (e.g. playing with shifting accents in Little Monster Stomp) or dance-like-character (the waltz Ballerina, Tarantela). The composer also took care of the fingering and the use of pedals, which facilitates the playing. Sophisticated illustrations, painted by Małgorzata Flis, help to develop the pupil s sensivity.

The name GeoGebra stems from two disciplines of mathematics geometry and algebra. It underlines the focus of its creator to join the two different disciplines of mathematics in a single, easy-to-use piece of software with a user-friendly interface.The geometry tools offered by GeoGebra include a wide variety of such objects as points, lines and curves (including all conic curves), vectors, and parametric curves. The algebra section allows the user to directly input equations and inequalities, polynomials, linear and quadratic equations, and calculations on numbers, points, and vectors. GeoGebra also offers a calculus section, which allows the user to input formulas of functions (also defined by segments), find the intersections of the graphs of functions or roots of functions, and draw parametric curves. Another interesting property of GeoGebra is that it includes a spreadsheet in which the cell input can be numbers, points or functions. The user can also create animations for instance by using the Slider.GeoGebra software can be used by schools to create beautiful mathematical illustrations. Teachers can use it to create multiple examples and prepare printed materials, as well as for the creation of more advanced teaching materials such as animated presentations, customisable tasks for interactive whiteboards and mobile devices, and for supporting learning via the Internet.

The collection of Judaica of the National Museum in Krakow has not been published as a whole before.The study coming out in 2018, preceded by the description of how Judaica collection was created at the NMK, shows objects of artistic craft divided into several thematic groups, according to the adopted order of discussing traditional Jewish culture. The first chapter presents objects of synagogue cult and synagogue furnishings, the second objects related to family festivals, and the third - those used during other festive rituals. The following chapter includes quite scarce prints and manuscripts, and the next one a selection of coins, notes and medals. The last chapter includes objects falling out of the aforementioned categories and those that were difficult to qualify as Judaica. In total, the work contains 388 notes of objects that in many cases were given comprehensive glosses, in addition to basic descriptions. It should be mentioned here that many of them have been published for the first time. Furthermore, except for prints and manuscripts (forming quite a random collection) and varia (too diverse to be preceded by a synthetic introduction), the remaining object groups have been given introductory notes describing individual issues and characterizing the context of the creation of the objects as well as the way they functioned in the Jewish culture.

A number of books have already appeared on the Polish publishing market, in which they refer to financing the activities of enterprises (entire books or their individual chapters are devoted to this issue). The reviewed book, however, presents an interesting outlook on the problem of financing enterprises involved in the construction of housing from several perspectives, i.e. the real estate market, financial market, developer companies and households. The combination of elements from various fields - law, engineering, economics, accounting, as well as theoretical and practical layers makes the work unique and interesting even for readers who do not deal with mentioned issues on a daily basis. The special appreciation shall be shown to the authors for gathering extensive numerical material for the purposes of this book. It is presented in an organised manner in the form of tables and charts. Summarising, the reviewed book will be an academic work, both in terms of its content and form. It is a book that can be successfully used in the didactic and scientific process as an academic textbook on issues from the field of corporate finance, capital market or real estate. It can also be a very interesting source of information for people responsible for the finance of development companies. It is a comprehensive study on the role of bonds in financing housing developers.
