Dzieło to jest jednak przede wszystkim podręcznikiem do pracy z afirmacjami, czyli pozytywnymi twierdzeniami wprowadzanymi świadomie w miejsce negatywnych przekonań na temat nas samych i naszego życia. Połączenie techniki afirmacji i seksualności dawało czytelnikom skuteczne narzędzie do pracy ze sobą i problemami w relacjach. Ta stosunkowo prosta metoda pozwala uświadomić sobie istnienie takich obszarów w naszej psychice, które potrzebują wsparcia i, co ważniejsze, instruuje jak wzmocnić w sobie poczucie własnej wartości, nauczyć się akceptować swoje ciało, otwarcie prosić o zaspokojenie pragnień czy wreszcie żyć swobodniej i szczęśliwiej w związkach miłości lub samotnie, w zależności od indywidualnej potrzeby. Zasługuję na miłość można więc w skrócie nazwać podręcznikiem samoakceptacji. Obecne wydanie zostało poprawione przez Sondrę i Markusa Ray i uzupełnione między innymi o takie kwestie jak seksualność ludzi w starszym wieku, zagadnienia społeczności LGBT, czy wpływ Internetu na nasze postrzeganie erotyzmu i na nasze intymne relacje. Obecne wydanie zostało poprawione przez Sondrę i Markusa Ray oraz uzupełnione o część zatytułowaną Tęczowe Millenium. Autorzy, świadomi zmian zachodzących w życiu społecznym i kulturalnym w ostatnich dekadach, postarali się uwzględnić w swojej pracy nowe istotne tematy, które dzisiaj budzą pewne kontrowersje albo są pomijane w dyskusji publicznej.

In the monograph, the author raises important issues in the field of free movement of persons in the EU, starting with law basics, the scope of freedom, EU legal acts and judicature of the Court of Justice of the European Union, restrictions on the free movement - public order and public safety, the economic dimension of restrictions, employment in public administration, the protection procedure (decision, appeal and supervision over the process of restrictions), measures used against citizens of the European Union and their family members (ban on leaving, entry ban, expulsion). The publication is a rich source of CJEU jurisprudence regarding the free movement of persons in the EU.

The monograph concerns the origin of the Latin -ies/-ia inflection, the topic which to this day has not been explained satisfactorily. The proposal presented in the book allows for the most economic solution to the problem without difficult assumptions which were present in the previous hypotheses. The author explains the origin of the formation as the result of the identification and mutual influence of three former paradigms reconstructed for Proto-Indo-European and subsequent analogical influence of the commonly used Latin noun dies day from the fifth declension. Apart from the hypothesis itself, the analysis of all the forms of the Latin -ies/-ia inflection is presented with an etymological commentary and illustrative examples from the original ancient texts. The question on the origin of the Latin fifth declension is also mentioned alongside the modern description of the Proto-Indo-European derivational morphology. Dariusz R. Piwowarczyk - Assistant Professor in the Department of Classical Philology at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He holds an M.A. degree in Classical Philology (Jagiellonian University) and omparative Indo-European Linguistics (Leiden University) alongside a Ph. D. in Linguistics (Jagiellonian University). He specializes in the historical and comparative linguistics of the Indo-European languages, especially of Latin and Greek.

In the spring of 1917 the Warsaw Publishing Company published the first volume of my History of Russia which in 527 pages of the 8th print size covered the time period only up to the year 1449. Before I shall be able to complete this work in the same sort of detail, the need appeared, a very urgent one, to give to our general public a concise overview of the subject - and so this is the genesis of the present book. From start to finish this book contains only the results of my own investigations and many years of studies which were conducted and interrupted due to various circumstances of life. This is an abridged version in respect to the former more exten-sive study, providing here only its backbone. It is an abbrevia-tion of the first volume and a conspectus of further ones pub-lished in advance because of the practical needs of the public. For this reason in this volume I have kept to the rule that a presentation of the earlier times is given as briefly as possible and the work expands increasingly as more recent times are dealt with. This shortened version is completely void of the so called scientific apparatus; this is left for the more detailed editions in which I shall try to maintain the same method as was used in vol. 1. Whoever is interested in details, deductions, proofs, who likes to ask the question: why and requires justified answers for it will have to look into the main study and consider the present volume as an introductory reading.
