From Musique d ameublement to Audiomarketing The book is an attempt to obtain the interdisciplinary insight into the musical culture of the 20th and 21st centuries through the prism of acoustic wallpaper. The author indicates the connections between functional concepts, in which background music is an instrument of social influence (Muzak and audiomarketing), and artistic concepts (Erik Satie and musique dameublement, Brian Eno and ambient music) intended to create a neutral background filling the public space. She deals with the issues of acoustic engineering in the public space, combining three basic research perspectives: musicological, psychological and marketing, taking into account theoretical, historical and empirical approaches.

Polsko-angielska publikacja Niebo nad Krakowem. LGBT mówi towarzyszy dronowemu pokazowi Krzysztofa Wodiczko na Rynku Głównym w Krakowie. Wydawnictwo podzielone jest na trzy części. W pierwszej znajdują się esej kuratora projektu Marii Anny Potockiej, manifest artysty oraz tekst koordynatora społeczności Krzysztofa Marchlaka. Uzupełnienie stanowią wypisy z dwóch najważniejszych raportów dotyczących stanu równouprawnienia społeczności LGBT (Rainbow Europe) oraz wolności wypowiedzi artystycznej (The State of Artistic Freedom). Druga część zawiera transkrypcje wypowiedzi uczestników projektu. Ostatnia dotyczy technicznych i środowiskowych przygotowań do projektu. Składają się na nią wytyczne dla uczestników oraz zespołu realizującego opracowane przez Krzysztofa Wodiczko. Aneksem jest zestawienie wszystkich projekcji zrealizowanych przez artystę w przestrzeni publicznej od 1980 roku.

Katja Strunz Zeittraum #9 fr Władysław Strzemiński is a publication accompanying the exhibition Afterimages of Life. Władysław Strzemiński and Rights for Art, which took place at Muzeum Sztuki in Łódź (30 November 2010 27 February 2011). The exhibition curators - Jarosław Lubiak and Paulina Kurc-Maj invited a German artist Katja Strunz, who re-works the topic of the avant-garde in her art, to cooperate with them on the exhibition. Thanks to Strunz s intervention: a design of the exhibition architecture, we were presented with a new dimension, a new commentary of Strzemiński s works. Strunz, using the letters of the alphabet created by Strzemiński in the beginning of the 1930s, arranged the word Zeittraum, which defines the space of the exhibition. This neologism, inspired by Walter Benjamin s philosophy of history, whose basis is the noun Zeitraum (a period of time, lit. A space of time), thanks to doubling the letter t gained an additional dimension for interpretation referring to the word Traum (dream).According to Barbara Kuon, owing to the installation the artist managed to save Władysław Strzemiński s work from the passage of time save it from being locked in history of art, from drowning in automated perception, save Strzemiński s revolutionary artistic vision from fading away, save the effect of radical boredom he created from disappearing.

Romantic writers often asserted their individuality, but this assertion tended to take the form of positioning themselves in relation to other authors and literary texts. Thus they implicitly acknowledged the rich network of broadly understood poetic dialogue as an important and potent source for their own creativity. When in 1816 John Keats wrote Great spirits now on earth are sojourning, he celebrated the originality of his contemporaries and the historical significance of his times, pointing to deep interest in the hum of mighty works in all the fields of human activity, to which the nations ought to listen. Keats s sonnet suggests not only stimulating exchanges between poets, artists and social thinkers in the same language, but also the idea of transnational appreciation and dialogue. The volume takes up this idea and explores the dialogues of Romantic authors within the wide scope of European and American cultures. Essays by scholars from Germany, Britain, Bulgaria, Poland, Canada and the United States of America examine Romantic writers responses to their contemporaries, explore their dialogues with the culture of the past, and their interactions across the arts and sciences. They also scrutinize the Romantics far-reaching influence on later writers and artists, and thus extend the network of artistic exchange to modern times.

The collection of Judaica of the National Museum in Krakow has not been published as a whole before.The study coming out in 2018, preceded by the description of how Judaica collection was created at the NMK, shows objects of artistic craft divided into several thematic groups, according to the adopted order of discussing traditional Jewish culture. The first chapter presents objects of synagogue cult and synagogue furnishings, the second objects related to family festivals, and the third - those used during other festive rituals. The following chapter includes quite scarce prints and manuscripts, and the next one a selection of coins, notes and medals. The last chapter includes objects falling out of the aforementioned categories and those that were difficult to qualify as Judaica. In total, the work contains 388 notes of objects that in many cases were given comprehensive glosses, in addition to basic descriptions. It should be mentioned here that many of them have been published for the first time. Furthermore, except for prints and manuscripts (forming quite a random collection) and varia (too diverse to be preceded by a synthetic introduction), the remaining object groups have been given introductory notes describing individual issues and characterizing the context of the creation of the objects as well as the way they functioned in the Jewish culture.
