Also when I played the tape, I only got sound from the left speaker. When playing cd or radio both speakers work fine. I only have one tape to test with so its possible its a problem with the tape itself but cannot confirm.

Vtg JVC RC-M50JW GhettoBlaster Boombox AM/FM/SW Cassette Stereo. Volume is static while turning up and down, but once you stop turning dial sounds good. Missing one button on top as seen, that part still works. Cassette works good. Radio seems a little hard to find channels until moving antenna around a bit. Not perfect condition, but not bad either for its age. The right collector could make this a really nice piece or anyone could use it in current condition. I’ll try my best to answer any questions.
